Chris lives in Winchcombe, just outside Cheltenham and has been a volunteer leader with Cheltenham District Woodcraft Folk for more than twenty years, joining the group when his children were young.
He is now a grandfather, but still remains a Venturer leader; Assistant Treasurer and Equipment Officer for the District.
Until March 2018, he was employed as an engineer, by Jaguar Landrover, working for 23 years at their Design and Engineering Centre in the Midlands. Then, when the chance came, he was delighted to be offered the role of Camp Site Assistant, helping to develop the facilities at Biblins Youth Campsite.
He attended his very first Woodcraft Summer Camp at Biblins – way back in 1996 and still has the badge on his “Folk Shirt” to prove it, although now rather faded.
Chris’s duties include handling all enquires; bookings; invoices and chasing late payments; answering e-mails & ‘phone calls and addressing the often complex requests from customers!
