Woodcraft Folk took over the management of the Biblins
Youth Campsite in 2018, the site previously being run by
the Forestry Commission since the 1960s.
During the 2018 season over 5,000 children and young people stayed on the site, having opportunities to engage with nature, work together and develop their confidence. At Woodcraft Folk, we would like to see future generations of children enjoy the site.
The volunteer Management Committee are seeking financial support to
further develop the site infrastructure:
- Installing more renewable energy
- Increasing washing up facilities
- Building more accessible indoor accommodation
The funds raised through the ‘buy a brick’ campaign will support the costs of materials, architect and planning fees. This will enable the Management Committee to approach other funding bodies for the costs of any new build
Could you help, and leave your mark on the site with a dedicated brick, which will remain on site for future generations.
